How to send your digital impression

At Eurodent Laboratory, we believe in leaving nothing to chance. Our commitment to innovation ensures we utilize the finest dental technologies available. We fully embrace intraoral scanning technology and are compatible with all open system files (.STL export), and the following, CEREC®, Carestream®, iTero®, 3Shape TRIOS®, and 3M True Definition®.

EURODENT LABORATORY is highly skilled in supporting clinicians who use digital impression systems. Our production process extensively utilizes computer-aided technology to ensure that all prescribed restorations are consistently well-fitting and made from the most advanced materials available.

1. Sending a digital impression

For both traditional and implant restorations, EURODENT LABORATORY accepts digital scans from a variety of platforms including Sirona CEREC®, Align Technology iTero™, Carestream Dental’s CS 3500, PLANMECA CAD/CAM SOLUTIONS E4D Technologies PlanScan®, the 3M™ True Definition Scanner, and 3Shape’s TRIOS®.After a clinician captures an impression with their scanning unit, the data can be seamlessly transferred to EURODENT LABORATORY. For systems with proprietary connection portals, the data is sent through the approved, established channels as detailed in the system’s manual. For open systems, clinicians can directly upload the scan data from their impression unit to EURODENT LABORATORY via our “My Account” interface.

2. Digital Case Design

Once your scan data reaches EURODENT LABORATORY, our expert team of dental technicians conducts a brief clinical evaluation to ensure each case is ready for production. Once approved, cases are routed to the specialized technical department that best suits the material and restoration type specified by the clinician.

At EURODENT LABORATORY, nearly 100 percent of our case design is managed using advanced dental design software. This technology allows our seasoned technicians to meticulously craft every detail of a restoration. Our extensive traditional lab experience informs every decision, ensuring each restoration meets precise standards for fit, function, and aesthetics. This fully digital design process significantly enhances accuracy in the final product by eliminating the errors typically associated with traditional impressions and stone model pouring. Most of our modern production workflows are completed entirely without the need for a physical model, although clinicians can request one if they prefer to verify their restorations physically.

3. Digital Production

Once the digital restoration design is finalized at EURODENT LABORATORY, the design file is forwarded to the appropriate production team, depending on the material and type of restoration requested by the clinician.
